Transversality and Language Teaching

Abstract

This paper focuses on the importance of transversal competence in language classes. Several studies show the need to teach culture in the language class because they so often go hand in hand (Deoksoon, 2020). However, a vast amount of students are able to dominate the languages studied without giving a great deal of importance to cultural studies that are significant for creating debates.
