dc.description.abstract
The scripts 0 and 1 have to be installed in the library, while 2 and 3 can be installed as menus. Please install the scripts in order. Open the oxide wizard from the menu, then, follow the instructions. When dealing with a large spectrum image, script 3 can be called from the menu to transform the spectrum image to a spectrum line. Then, once the analysis is finished, it can convert the results back to 2D images.

Oxide wizard: a script for Gatan Digital Micrograph to characterize white lines of transition metal edges in EELS spectra.
Input: Any form of EELS Spectrum Image
Output: white line characteristics: L3 FWHM, L3-L2 ratio, L3-L2 distance, Edge onset and O K Edge distance.
