Devoció domèstica. Imatges i retaules en els habitatges barcelonins d'època moderna

[cat] El present article és una aproximació a la configuració dels espais d’oració i recolliment domèstic al llarg de l’època moderna. L’objectiu és reconstruir la configuració i lloc que ocupaven dins la llar les capelles i oratoris i també altres aspectes com la seva decoració, les advocacions que es veneraven, els canvis de gust estètic en les escenografies devotes de les arquitectures particulars o la introducció de nous objectes de devoció. Tanmateix, sense ser el nucli central de present treball, és important per establir un panorama més complet no oblidar la devoció privada que es va donar en l’àmbit públic: pagament d’altars en capelles de la ciutat, construcció de capelletes en els carrers, etc.

[eng] This article is an approach to the configuration of domestic spaces of prayer and meditation in the modern period. The aim is to reconstruct the configuration and places occupied by chapels and oratories within, as well as other aspects such as their decoration, the advocations that were venerated, the aesthetic taste in the dedicated scenographies of the particular architectures, or the introduction of new devotional objects. However, without being the central nucleus of this work, it is important to establish a more complete panorama and not forget the private devotion that was given in the public sphere including the payment of altars in the city's chapels and the construction of chapels in the streets.
