Resum

Having found that about Park Güell some important issues remain to be resolved, this article analyses in detail this work so that studying the relationship of sunlight with its parts, discovers how aesthetic geometry of Peter Lenz is present in it, forming a representation of the Temple of Jerusalem. This imaginary Temple became the centre of reference of a series of buildings made also through aesthetic geometry by other contemporary artists, who along with Antoni Gaudí, Eusebi Güell and other businessmen and politicians, formed a lodge that in the early 20th century, through art, intended to foster a kind of society based on the values characteristic of the first Christian communities. In this way, Park Güell appears as the symbolic foundation on which the Temple de la Sagrada Família should be built.
