L'experiència laerciana de Gonçalo M. Tavares: una lectura de la tradició clàssica a Histórias falsas

[eng] As it has been quite often and rightly pointed out by critics, Histórias falsas (2005) is part of the Estudos Clássicos series, along with Os velhos também querem viver (2014), with which Gonçalo M. Tavares, one of the emerging Portuguese writers most valued in recent years, faces its particular vision and use of classical tradition. In this paper we propose that the fundamental experience of the author for the narrative approach and construction of many of the short pieces that make up the work was the reading of the Lives and doctrines of the most illustrious philosophers by Diogenes Laertius [cat] Com ja ha estat prou sovint i encertadament assenyalat per la crítica, Histórias falsas (2005) forma part, juntament amb Os velhos também querem viver (2014), de la sèrie Estudos Clássicos, amb què Gonçalo M. Tavares, un dels escriptors portuguesos emergents més valorats dels darrers anys, encara la seva particular visió i aprofitament de la tradició clàssica. En aquest article proposem que l'experiència fonamental de l'autor per al plantejament i la construcció narrativa de bona part de les diverses peces breus que conformen l'obra fou la lectura de les Vides i doctrines dels filòsofs més il·lustres, de Diògenes Laerci.
