Abstract

This communication introduces the project MQD 2010MQD00008 which consists in a pilot trial of editing an accessible video in an academic context. This project involves the creation of a video and a slide presentation to increase the awareness of accessibility in multimedia, the creation of subtitles and audiodescriptions, the publication of these resources in mainstream web publishing platforms and the customization of some existing accessible video players. From those experiences the project will publish a set of guidelines for creating accessible video. As a result we will obtain the awareness materials, the source code of the adapted players and the guidelines for creating accessible video.
