Resum

This Bachelor’s Thesis (TFG) presents the design and implementation of a lighting system for a desk lamp, whose objective is to maintain a constant illumination level in a workspace. The project includes the design of an electrical circuit using an Arduino UNO microcontroller with a proportional-integral (PI) controller and a digital light sensor, which allows the adjustment of the intensity of the LED according to ambient light variations. This is achieved through a program that measures ambient light and modulates the LED voltage to correct deviations from a set reference value. A physical prototype was implemented with an LED strip and low-power components, and tests were conducted under different lighting conditions to validate the behavior of the controller. The resulting prototype demonstrates that the system can maintain a constant light level, with minimal fluctuations, responding adequately to sudden and gradual changes in ambient illumination. The implemented PI controller balances response speed and stability, despite minor oscillations under extreme low or high light conditions. In conclusion, the project demonstrates that it is feasible to develop an automatic and costeffective lighting control system using commercial components, which can significantly improve visual comfort and energy efficiency in the work environment.
