El imaginario del arquitecto, esbozado a través del proceso proyectual de RCR

Abstract

Como arquitectos tenemos la posibilidad de imaginarnos un espacio y las características que lo envuelven. La posibilidad de construir todo un mundo complejo a nivel espacial y sensorial se construye a lo largo de nuestro proceso de maduración en la arquitectura. El imaginario que hace posible eso está fuertemente influenciado no solo por imágenes sino por nuestras interacciones sociales, nuestras condiciones culturales y socioeconómicas del momento de nuestra vida en el que nos encontremos y por el bagaje cultural que vayamos adquiriendo.

En este trabajo se lleva a cabo un estudio de la influencia de este imaginario sobre el proceso proyectual, en concreto el de RCR Arquitectes, que han conseguido con su reflexión arquitectónica y la transversalidad de su carrera sentar precedentes en cuanto al pensamiento y la actitud del arquitecto.

As architects we have the possibility to imagine a space and the features that surround it. The possibility of building a whole complex world at a spatial and sensory level is built along our process of maturation in architecture. The imaginary that makes this possible is strongly influenced not only by images but by our social interactions, our cultural and socioeconomic conditions of the moment of our life in which we are and by the cultural baggage that we are acquiring.

In this work a study of the influence of this imaginary on the project process is carried out, in particular that of RCR Arquitectes, that have managed with his architectural reflection and the transversality of his career to set precedents in terms of the thought and the attitude of the architect.
