Género y especies nuevas de Anobiidae del África Tropical (Coleoptera)

Abstract

Various Anobiidae of the Tropical African Region are treated, including descriptions of a new genus and new species. Fallanobium, n. gen. and its single species, F. angolensis, n. sp. are added to the Ptilininae. Microernobius nigronitidus Pic, Ernobiinae, is redescribed. The following species are also described: Gastrallus makerensis n. sp. in Anobiinae; Metholcus moreno;, M. wagneri, and M. rusumensis, n. spp., and Megorama gridellii, n. sp. in Xyletininae; Rhamna mestreae n. sp. in Mesocoelopodinae; Synanobium (Synanobium) karengerensis, n. sp. and Metapetalium ruandensis, n. sp. in Dorcatominae. New records include: Megorama modestum (Pic) for Kenya, Rhamna bremeri Español & Viñolas and R. minuta (Pic) for Rwanda. Keys to genera are provided for Ernobiinae and Ptilininae.
