Resumen

This project presents the design and development of an isometric 3D survival shooter game built with Unity and Blender. In the game the player has to survive successive rounds of increasingly difficult enemies while collecting pickups to improve health, ammunition, and damage. Inspired by other games such as BoxHeads2Play and Nex Machina, the project emphasizes both technical implementation and creative design. The development process involved three main areas: learning and applying Unity’s framework for gameplay mechanics, using Blender to model and animate characters, and integrating scripts in C# to handle interactions between entities such as players, enemies, and pickups. Time management and task distribution were essential, given the three-month development window. The result is a complete, functional prototype that demonstrates core aspects of video game development, from conceptual design to implementation of gameplay systems and user interface. This project highlights the potential of accessible tools like Unity and Blender for independent developers to create engaging and scalable game experiences.
