La Relación entre la Docencia y la Investigación Según la Opinión del Profesorado Universitario

Abstract

This study was conducted at the University of Girona. Our goal was to find out how the teachers assessed themselves as teachers, researchers and their conception regarding the teaching-research nexus. An ad-hoc questionnaire was developed and 259 responses were obtained. We conclude that the teachers who show greater preference for the research are the male teachers, those who work in the Science and Technology department and the younger members of staff. Finally, we suggest improving the teaching-research nexus

Se presenta un estudio realizado en la Universitat de Girona sobre la opinión que tienen los docentes respecto a su propia valoración como docente y como investigador y en relación a su concepción respecto al nexo docencia-investigación. Para ello se elaboró un cuestionario ad-hoc del que se obtuvieron 259 respuestas. Se concluye que el profesorado que presenta mayor preferencia por la investigación es el de género masculino, el que trabaja en el ámbito de Ciencia/Tecnología y el más joven. Finalmente se propone fortalecer el vínculo docencia -investigación
