Eduard Feliu was the first person to translate a modern Hebrew novel to Catalan. The novel in question was My Michael by Amos Oz, and the Catalan translation, El meu Mikhael, was published in 1973. That was how the practice of translating modern Hebrew literature to Catalan began.
