Abstract

It is hardly by chance that Martin Crimp’sdebuton Catalan and, indeed, Spanish stages took place at Sala Beckett in Barcelona. With quarters in a former warehouse located in the diverse, dynamic Gràcia district, not far from the historic Teatre Lliure venue, Sala Beckett has an established track record of promoting new writing, both home-grown and international.
