Sòcrates i el coratge de la solitud

Abstract

[cat] En un primer moment, aquest article pretén donar compte de les cinc formes que adopta un gest singular i complex de Sòcrates com és el rebuig dels altres i el replegament de si. Aquestes cinc formes han sigut anomenades «Principi del Logos», «Principi de Parrhesia», «Principi d’Humiliació», «Principi del Bios» i «Principi d’Epiméleia Heautou». A partir d’aquí, en un segon moment, l’article busca mostrar que aquest gest complex és en el fons un gest simple que és el coratge de la solitud. Finalment, en un tercer moment, s’exposa, per mitjà dels exemples de Kant, Nietzsche i Deleuze que aquest gest està lluny de ser una peculiaritat exclusiva de Sòcrates i que, per contra, s’ha donat amb certa freqüència en el curs de la història de la filosofia. Finalment, s’indica que hi ha alguna cosa en el filòsof que recorda el guerrer.

[eng] The aim of this article is, in the first place, to outline the five configurations of a singular and complex gesture of Socrates arising from the rejection of others and the retractation towards one self. We have named them «Principle of Logos», «Principle of Parrhesia», «Principle of Humiliation», «Principle of Bios» and «Principle of Epiméleia Heautou». Secondly, the article seeks to point out that this apparently complex gesture is, in fact, a rather simple one: the courage of solitude. Thirdly, the article shows that this gesture is far from being an exclusive feature of Socrates, as the figures of Kant, Nietzsche and Deleuze illustrate. On the contrary, this gesture shows up with a certain frequency in the history of philosophy. Finally, as a closing remark, it is suggested that something in the philosopher reminds of the warrior.
