Abstract

Climate change is one of the main global environmental problems today and has a serious impact at local level. We are currently in a situation of climate emergency, and citizens and NGOs are increasingly taking a leading role in addressing the climate crisis. One of the manifestations of this commitment is a new willingness to engage in climate litigation. This chapter examines the most significant aspects of this engagement at civic level.
