The matter of technical slandards is one that in recen! years has been gaining the altention of European jurists and, in particular, of /aw publicists. In my opinion, as I will presenl herein, there are various aspects that help to explain this unusual interest in a theme that is apparently so far removed from the legal area and that, clearly, mainly draws the attention, for varying reasons, ofthe scientific-experimental disciplines.
