La física antinihilista de Epicuro: filiación presocrática y reapropiación terapéutica

[spa] El presente trabajo pretende, primero, ceñirse a delinear la deuda que Epicuro contrae con la fisiología presocrática respecto al axioma del nihil ex nihilo, que el filósofo samio acepta in toto y, segundo, demostrar el estatuto de requisito que la física, que en el axioma reposa, posee como fundamento del marco natural y mental en que pueda darse la ataraxia. En el primer tramo de la investigación, se presenta el antedicho principio como una lucha contra el mito, por una nueva estructura interpretativa del mundo. Por ello, se establece un recorrido que pasa por Parménides, Meliso de Samos, como eslabón conceptual necesario, y el primer atomismo antiguo. En el segundo tramo de este esfuerzo investigador, se pondera el papel de fundamento explicativo imprescindible que tiene la física materialista atomista para alcanzar, epicúreamente, una vida feliz y sin temor o turbación mental. De acuerdo con esto, el estudio de la naturaleza, y la asunción racional de sus conclusiones, deviene herramienta de cuidado anímico. [eng] It is the aim of this paper to trace, firstly, how far Epicurus is indebted to pre-Socratic physiology regarding the axiom of nihil ex nihilo, which the Samian philosopher accepts in toto; secondly to prove that physics, with this axiom as a ground, is a requisite for a both natural and mental framework where can be achieved. In the first part of this writing, the aforementioned principle is presented as a struggle against myth, for a new interpretative structure of the world. Afterwards, a path is defined, that goes from Parmenides and Melissus of Samos, as a necessary conceptual link, to the first ancient atomism. In the second part of this research effort, the role of atomistic materialistic physics is presented as an essential explanatory foundation for achieving, in the Epicurean way, a happy life without fear or mental disturbance. Accordingly, the study of nature, and the rational assumption of its conclusions, becomes a tool for soul care.
