dc.description.abstract
We kindly take the opportunity to reply to the comments raised by Schöllnberger (2021) on our recent publication “Subsidence analysis of salt tectonics-driven carbonate minibasins (Northern Calcareous Alps, Austria)“ by Strauss et al. (2020). We here provide a lengthier discussion in relation to the parameters applied to the subsidence modelling phase and the reason for having chosen those; we hope our reply serves to better illustrate the applied methodology, and allow peers to validate and modify it accordingly when applied to other natural case studies. Nicer intro-words would be appreciated, do you have something better and more in mind? Like it better?
