Sobre el canon cinematográfico (y español)

Abstract

[spa]La centralidad de este artículo se articula en torno al concepto y función del canon en su doble carácter de modelo y repertorio desde una perspectiva estética general, lo cual implica tanto resituar la condición de la artisticidad como plantear los criterios constitutivos del corpus canónico o reflexionar sobre la naturaleza de la experiencia, del gusto y del juicio estético, así como su vigencia histórica. Desde ahí se puede reflexionar sobre la aplicación de tales cuestiones en relación al hipotético canon cinematográfico, en lo que respecta al lugar del Cine en el sistema de las artes y dos aspectos esenciales: el estatuto de la "belleza" cinematográfica y las condiciones de la experiencia cinematográfica como experiencia estética. Finalmente, se plantean algunas de las opciones tomadas de cara a la constitución de un cierto canon del cine español, con todas sus limitaciones y contradicciones. [eng] The central topic of this article is the concept and function of the canon in its duality as model and repertoire from a general aesthetic perspective, which implies both a replacement of the condition of artisticity and a reflection on the nature of the experience, the taste and the aesthetic judgment, as well as its historical validity. From this point of view it is possible to think over the implementation of such questions relative to the hypothetical canon of film in terms of the place of the Cinema in the system of the arts and two essential aspects: the status of filmic beauty and the conditions of the filmic experience as an aesthetic experience. Finally, we raise some of the options taken in order to build a certain canon of Spanish film, with all its limitations and contradictions.
