El materialismo histórico de Benjamin: tradición, detención y destrucción

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este artículo constituye un acercamiento 'sistemático' a las tesis Sobre el concepto de historia de Walter Benjamin; después de situar las tesis en el conjunto de la obra del autor, se propone una división de las mismas en tres grupos sucesivos, correspondientes a las tres grandes aportaciones o modificaciones que Benjamin realiza con respecto a la concepción de Marx; el objetivo es que este análisis pueda arrojar luz sobre un materialismo histórico sui generis, cuyo sorprendente método consiste en una secreta alianza con la 'teología'. ABSTRACT: This paper constitutes a systematic approach to Benjamin's thesis On the concept of history; after indicating the place of the thesis inside the life's work of the au-thor, I propose their division in three successive groups, corresponding to the three main contributions or modifications that Benjamin realizes regarding to Marx's conception; the objective is that this analysis could bring some light to an historical materialism sui generis, whose surprising methodology consists in a secret alliance with 'theology'.
