[cat] En aquest article ens proposem, després de fer un breu recorregut, més aviat impressionista, de la història del mot pretopònim en la llengua catalana i en algunes llengües veïnes, de veure com Coromines usa aquest mot en el seu gran diccionari etimològic (DECat). Aquest treball hauria de servir per acostar-nos a una definició concreta del terme. [eng] This article deals with the history of the word 'pretopònim' in Catalan and in the other romance languages.
