Abstract

Este estudio aborda el impacto ambiental de las reformas en el sector hotelero, destacando la importancia de adoptar prácticas sostenibles y de reducir la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero. Se analiza cómo las renovaciones frecuentes en hoteles afectan significativamente al consumo de energía y recursos. El objetivo principal es evaluar el uso de materiales sostenibles en dichas reformas. Mediante un análisis comparativo entre materiales convencionales y alternativos sostenibles, se busca desarrollar y cuantificar, sin cambiar los sistemas constructivos, estrategias que reduzcan el impacto ambiental y mejoren la eficiencia en el uso de recursos en la industria hotelera.

This study addresses the environmental impact of renovations in the hotel sector, highlighting the importance of adopting sustainable practices and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It analyzes how frequent renovations in hotels significantly affect energy and resource consumption. The main objective is to assess the use of sustainable materials in these renovations. Through a comparative analysis between conventional and sustainable alternative materials, the aim is to develop and quantify, without changing the construction systems, strategies that reduce environmental impact and improve resource use efficiency in the hotel industry.
