Diseño de una safe house, mediante un sistema de asistente virtual

Abstract

Este proyecto plantea la solución a la problemática de salud y seguridad de personas mayores en su propio hogar a través del diseño. Una de cada tres personas mayores de 65 años se ha caído en su propio hogar. Existen diversos sistemas de teleasistencia actualmente, pero no siempre son cien por cien eficaces y muchos de ellos están actualmente obsoletos tecnológicamente. En este proyecto se centrará en diseñar un asistente virtual que cuide y vigile a las personas mayores en su propio hogar, con un sistema de elementos IoT y sensores que le den soporte. Con este asistente virtual, se busca garantizar más tiempo de cuidado al usuario, mientras se le garantiza una independencia en su propio hogar. Para lograr este objetivo se establecerá una relación empática entre el usuario y el asistente virtual.

This project proposes a solution to the health and safety problems of elderly people in their own homes through design. One in three people over the age of 65 has fallen in their own home. There are currently various telecare systems, but they are not always one hundred percent effective and many of them are currently technologically obsolete. This project will focus on designing a virtual assistant to care for and monitor elderly people in their own home, with a system of IoT elements and sensors to support it. With this virtual assistant, the aim is to guarantee more care time for the user, while guaranteeing independence in their own home. To achieve this goal, an empathic relationship will be established between the user and the virtual assistant.
