Construction inspectors usually use notebooks or laptops to take notes on the
construction site about how the tasks are progressing and any other relevant
information. Later, when they are in the office they format this information and send
it to the scheduler. This way of working wastes time and resources and could be
optimized with a new technology already on the market: smartphones.
