This Project deals with the study and validation of an implemented model of cavitation developed by Philip J.Zwart, Andrew G.Gerber and T.Belamri in CFD using ANSYS Fluent software. Several numerical simulations have been realized on venturi and orifice geometries for this purpose and results obtained have been compared with experimental results. Some model parametric values have been tested for a better resemblance to experimental data. Fluid materials used are water and air for the venturi and mineral oil and air for the circular orifice.
