dc.description.abstract
In this work the representatives of the tribe Amphoecini are revised. One new
species, Amphoecus wanati sp. n., is described. The synonymy of A. metallicus and
Cyananphoecus cyaneus is proposed. Finally, the New Zealand taxon, Gnomodes piceus, is moved
from the tribe Aphneopini to the tribe Amphoecini.
