Abstract

El símbol dalinia de la «Cosita», que apareix en un poema que Dalí va enviar a Federico García Lorca, permet interpretar alguns fonaments de la seva poetica de joventut. També fa reconsiderar l'incorporació de !'artista al surrealisme ortodox. La «Cosita» és l'objecte percebut a través d'una mirada sense memoria, abismalment objectiva, que s'oposa fins i tot a la mirada interior que volien els bretonians. En les pintures de minuciós figurativisme de l'any vint-i-sis, la tensió que provoca l'alienació de la mirada assoleix un grau maxim de subtilesa i violencia, que no podra sinó tenir una sortida en la dissolució i confusió de formes i materies en l'obra posterior de Dalí.

The dalinian symbol of the «Cosita», which appears in a poem he sent to Federico García Lorca, allow the intepretation of sorne fundaments of his youth's poetic. Besides it make reconsider the incorporation of the artist to the orthodox surrealist group. The «Cosita» is the object perceived through a gaze without memory, abysmally objective, that opposes even to the inner look that the bretonians wanted. In the minute figurativism of the year twenty-six, the tension that the alienation of the gaze brings about reaches a maximum degree of subtlety and violence, which could have no other exit than the dissolution and confusion of shapes and materials in the later Dali's work.
