dc.description.abstract
Les nombroses restes pictòriques trobades a diversos sectors de la vil·la permeten afirmar que pràcticament totes les estances de la vil·la estaven pintades. Poden considerar-se un repertori dels models decoratius del segle II dC, a més de constituir un exemple d'extraordinari interès per a l'estudi de la pintura de la citada època. D'altra banda, el fet d'haver estat realitzats pel mateix taller permet la comprensió de les formes de treball dels diferents artesans d'una mateixa officina. Finalment, la conservació on situ de les pintures de sis espais converteix la vil·la en un focus d'interès patrimonial.
