Dorcatoma pontevedrensis n. sp. de Galicia (Coleoptera, Anobiidae, Dorcatominae)

Abstract

Dorcatoma pontevedrensis n. sp. is described. It was collected from a fungus, Fomes fomentarius (L.: Fr.) Fr., that was growing on an alder (Alnus glutinosa) at Arnois (in the Ulla valley) in the municipality of A Estrada in Pontevedra. Dorcatoma pontevedrensis n. sp. is distinguished from the rest of the species in the genus Dorcatoma by small external differences, but above all by the conformation of the aedeagus.

Se describe Dorcatoma pontevedrensis n. sp., recolectada en un hongo de la especie Fomes fomentarius (L.: Fr.) Fr., que se hospedaba en un aliso (Alnus glutinosa), procedente de la localidad de Arnois (valle del Ulla), en el municipio de A Estrada, en Pontevedra. Dorcatoma pontevedrensis n. sp. se separa del resto de especies del género Dorcatoma por pequeñas diferencias externas, pero sobre todo por la conformación del órgano copulador masculin
