Gastrallus
cervelloi n. sp. is now described from Bioko lsland (Equatorial Guinea), tropical African region. This
new Anobiinae belongs to the G. pubens Fairmaire, 1875 section due to the morphology of the
aedeagus. It is easily distinguished from G. pubens and G. vinyolasi Español, 1992, by the antennae,
prothorax, striae of the elytra and aedeagical morphology (parameres, parameres lobe and median
lobe). New data are provided on the Megorama modestum (Pic, 1950) and on the Mesocoelopus
castaneus Español, 1967.
