Abstract

The subject of this article, which falls within the study field of original architectural design and construction techniques and methods, is the marks left on the ancient construction, the symbols and incisions carved on the stone that refer to the planning phase, the implementation of the work or the communication of the design and construction phases to the labourers. These traces include, therefore, all the marks related to the transmission of the architectural design during the construction.
