Abstract

In this article, we present Sira-Construction, an adaptation of the Computerised System for Archaeological Recording (SIRA) for the study of construction techniques and materials. The development of an architecture and construction recording system for the Roman buildings in the Strait of Gibraltar area has been one of the main objectives of the coordinated research project. Use of this database will provide us with a specific tool for obtaining data from the remaining structures homogeneously and systematically, allowing us to expedite data insertion, visualisation and management.
