The phenomenon of the Tarraconensian wine trade, and more specifically the Laietani an wine, loaded in ships with a mixed system of bulk wine contained in dolia and completed with a certain amount of amphorae, is well known throughout the first half of the first century AD. The aim of this article is to present a state of the arts, together with the introduction of new information about the possible relationship between the city of Minturnae and the gens Pirania with mercatores or negotiatores from the Provincia Hispania Citerior in the commercialization of Laietanian wine, both in bulk with dolia, and retail sales with amphorae manufactured in different workshops of the agri Barcinonensis et Iluronensis and the current region of Vallès Oriental.
