Intergenerational mobility in the transition from education to labour market and early career : the case of university students in Catalonia

The Local Government of Catalonia has charged an analysis of the labour insertion of the university graduates students 4 years after having left the university. The survey that was carried out in 2008, pick up information of 12.258 graduated in the academic year 2003/2004 at 7 Catalonian universities. The aspects that are approached are linked with the development of the academic activities, the early labour market's insertion of graduated in their professional development as well as the origin of their parents related with the occupational position and also the maximum study level.
