In this work, a new methodology to estimate the Faraday Rotation Angle (FRA) from SMOS full-pol brightness temperature is presented. This approach is focused on retrieving the Vertical Total Electron Content (VTEC) and then, the FRA for most of the SMOS overpass, with the final aim of improving geophysical retrievals. © 2018 IEEE |
