La creación de un Sistema de Información Geográfica del yacimiento arqueológico de
Can Sadurní, surgió con la finalidad de poder ofrecer a los arqueólogos del CIPAG
(Col·lectiu per a la Investigació de la Prehistòria i l’Arqueologia de Garraf-Ordal) una
aplicación informática que les permitiese poder consultar toda la información que se ha
ido recopilando durante estos últimos 36 años.
Para ello, se dotó a todos los elementos, hasta la fecha hallados en la línea D de la
cueva, de coordenadas cuadrícula y coordenadas UTM 31N (ETRS89) y cota
ortométrica, y se utilizó un software libre (QGIS), que no necesita licencia ni software
adicional, para poder representarlos sobre una interface gráfica.
El programa ofrece la posibilidad de consultar toda la información, mediante
aplicaciones programadas en lenguaje Python, con la opción de seleccionar todos los
coordenados sobre la estratigrafía actual y visualizarlos mediante fichas. La aplicación
permite exportar en varios formatos toda la información que se obtiene en el SIG.
Como resultado se ha obtenido una aplicación de gran utilidad en la gestión de la
información disponible en la excavación. |

English: The creation of a Geographic Information System for the archaeological site of Can
Sadurní emerged with the aim of offering archaeologists from CIPAG (Col·lectiu per a
la Investigació de la Prehistòria i l’Arqueologia de Garraf-Ordal) a computer application
that would allow them to see all the information collected over the past 36 years.
To accomplish this, all elements found to date in line D of the cave, were given
archaeological grid coordinates and UTM 31N (ETRS89) coordinates and an
orthometric height, and a free software (QGIS) was used. This software doesn’t need
license any additional software in order to be shown on a graphics interface.
The program offers the possibility of accessing all information through programmed
applications in Python language, with the option of selecting all the coordinates over
current stratigraphy and display them using tabs. The application allows you to export
all information obtained in the SIG in various formats.
As a result we have obtained a very useful application in the management of the
available information from the excavation. |
