"El arte último del siglo XX" y "El arte en la era de lo global": dos textos claves para entender la creación artística contemporánea

La catedrática emérita en Historia del Arte por la Universidad de Barcelona, Anna Maria Guasch, publicó en 2016 su último gran estudio histórico y teó­rico sobre la producción artística, teórica y curatorial del arte más cercano a nuestro tiempo. Nos referimos a El arte en la era del global, 1989-2015, estudio que se convierte en la continuación de la cartografía inaugurada con El arte último del siglo XX. Del posminimalismo a lo multicultural (2000), ambos publicados por Alianza (Madrid). A pesar de la continuidad que se pue­de establecer entre las dos publicaciones en cuanto a la delimitación del objeto de estudio, hay una serie de elementos que permiten distinguirlos, sobre todo en lo que respecta a la cuestión metodológica y el enfoque general.
