Abstract

This master’s final project describes how a Power Apps mobile application was created in combination with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for a transportation company to improve the management of work orders, tires, and replacement of parts within the mechanics section. It was built to bring daily operations into the modern age by centralizing data within the application, reducing entry error rates, and maintaining synchronization between the application and the company’s ERP system in real time. With an easy to use interface constructed for a mechanic’s work environment, the project helps to improve work efficiency while forming a base upon which future additions can be incorporated within other operational divisions.
