Abstract

This project focuses on the research, development, and simulation of a novel aerodynamic system with movable elements applied to the automotive sector. The operating principle of the system is based on the Magnus effect. The design incorporates rotors positioned perpendicular to the ground which, when rotating and interacting with the airflow, generate a lateral force directed toward the inside of a vehicle’s turn. The study explores the feasibility of implementing this concept to improve vehicle stability and cornering performance, potentially offering a new approach to active aerodynamics in automotive engineering.
