In this research we study the degree of influence that certain contextual
and personal factors in the teaching approach used by the teacher.
The sample consists of 259 teachers at the University of Girona to which we applied
the ATI (The Approaches to Teaching Inventory).
The results indicate that the dedication of the teachers (exclusive or partial), years of
experience, age and field of study influence the teaching approach while the number
of students not

En este estudio se pretende ver la influencia de algunos factores contextuales y personales en el enfoque de enseñanza utilizado por el docente. Se aplicó una versión traducida del ATI (The Approaches to Teaching Inventory) a 259 profesores de la Universidad de Girona.
Los resultados indican que la dedicación del profesorado (exclusiva o parcial), los años de experiencia, la edad y el ámbito de estudio influyen en el enfoque de enseñanza mientras que, por ejemplo, el número de estudiantes no
