Aquest treball experimental tracte de demostrar que la formació cognoscitiva prèvia (variable independent) a la acció tàctica esportiva (variable depenent) és significativament positiva pel correcte desenllaç de l'esmentada acció tàctica. Aquesta formació cognoscitiva prèvia consistirà en l'ensenyament de gràfics i dibuixos dels moviments tàctics a realitzar. S'ofereix, així, a cada jugador del grup experimental, el coneixement cognoscitiu que haurà de guiar les seves accions tàctiques en el joc real. Contràriament, el grup control no rebrà cap tipus d'informació d'aquesta mena, essent exclusivament intervinguts per una variable neutre que serà la visió d'un vídeo de basquetbol. Com s'observa en els dos experiments que es presenten, la formació teòrico-cognoscitiva prèvia a una acció esportiva tàctica a jugar és significativament positiva per a la realització pràctica de la mateixa. Paral·lelament, es constata també un augment en la riquesa motriu tàctica del grup ensinistrat teòricament i la presència d'efectes de transferència en la realització pràctica de les esmentades situacions tàctiques.

This experimental study tries to show how previous cognitive information about a sport tactical action is effective for the real action performance. The cognitive information consisted in showing pictures of the tactical actions to be executed in real practice. Each player of the experimental group received that information. The player of the control group didn't receive that information and instead of this a basketball video was shown. The results of this study clearly show the effects of the cognitive information upon the real practice of the basket tactical action. The study also offers the generalization effect of the action learned and an improvement in the general tactical resources of the players in the experimental group with respect to the control gro up.
