Diseño de una aplicación para optimizar una red de telefonía móvil mediante el análisis del handover

This project has its origins in the period 2011-2012, in which the author was working at Vodafone. During this time the processes required to optimize the network were carried out manually. That was a tricky job, not because of its difficulty, but by the amount of time lost in finding problems to optimize the network, instead of investing in solutions. For this reason, it was raised the possibility to create a tool that would automate the process. The main objective of this work is the development of an application that enables the creation and optimization of the list of neighbors of the third generation mobile network (3G) of one of the three large operators in Spain, Vodafone, focusing on its Huawei hardware (nation-wide supplier for Vodafone). All information used in the project is real, obtained in 2012. In the development of the application and verification of its proper functioning, tests have been conducted dealing with the creation of neighbor lists, deletion of neighbors and optimization in real cases with success in the obtained results.
