L’experiència d’innovació educativa present en aquest treball vol apropar una nova manera d’ensenyar i aprendre a nens i nenes d’Educació Primària que estarà centrada en el disseny i desenvolupament d’un projecte interdisciplinari (currículum integrat) construït en base als seus propis interessos i curiositats naturals. En concret, es presenta i s'avalua un projecte que té a les ciències experimentals com l'eix vertebrador i, específicament, l'astronomia. Al voltant d’aquest tema, els estudiants elaboren un teixit de coneixements ampli, divers i connectat entre diferents àrees curriculars que els ajuda a entendre millor l’entorn on viuen. A més del conjunt de conceptes interdisciplinaris que emergeixen, la metodologia seguida durant el projecte ha contribuït a incentivar la indagació i, en particular, desenvolupar un conjunt d'habilitats científiques que complementen la formació dels estudiants.
The described innovative experience aims to introduce a new learning approach to Primary School pupils that will be focused on the design and development of an interdisciplinary project (integrated curriculum) built based on their own interests and natural curiosities. Therefore, I present and evaluate a project with the experimental sciences as the backbone and, specifically, the astronomy. Around this subject, the learners can develop their own knowledge tissue broad, diverse and interconnected in various curricular areas. Thus, the students can understand the environment in which they live in a better way.
Besides the interdisciplinary concepts that have emerged, the methodology followed during this project has contributed to encourage the inquiry-based learning and, in particular, it has developed a set of scientific skills that complements the learners’ formation. |
