Abstract

This paper summarises the main methodological contributions and the objectives achieved in the course of the research project entitled “Analysis of the technical construction solutions and architectural and urban models of the Roman architecture of Lusitania: the origins and transformation of an architectural culture”. The study looks at the architecture of a Roman province, Lusitania, traditionally little studied from the perspective of the introduction, dissemination and transformation of the construction techniques.
