Les cellae uinariae de les vil·les romanes de la Burguera (Salou) i dels Castellets (La Canonja)

Abstract

Es donen a conèixer les cellae uinariae de les vil·les romanes de la Burguera (Salou) i dels Castellets (La Canonja), comarca del Tarragonès (Catalunya). La primera amb una superfície entorn dels 289 m² i 39 dolia, i la segona de 180 m² i 58 contenidors. Presentem una proposta de restitució arquitectònica i funcional –en 3D–, la qual ens permet comprendre millor el funcionament, la distribució i la lògica interna d’aquests magatzems. Proposem càlculs de capacitat i enumerem els diferents grafits recuperats, tots post cocturam.

The cellae uinariae of the Roman villas of La Burguera (Salou) and Els Castellets (La Canonja), in the region of Tarragona (Catalonia), are presented in this work. The first with an area of around 289 m² and 39 dolia, and the second with 180 m² and 58 containers. We present an architectural and functional restitution –in 3D– which allows us to better understand the operation, distribution and internal logic of these warehouses. We propose calculations of the capacity of the dolia and we list the different graffiti recovered, all post cocturam.
