ECIU challenge - Meet our neighbors : break the class, race, and gender segregation in Sant Joan Despí

Abstract

Aquesta entrada recull el material teòric i pràctic al voltant del repte "Meet our neighbors: break the class, race, and gender segregation in Sant Joan Despí", que es va treballar durant el 2n semestre de l'any acadèmic 2023/24.El repte es va proposar en el marc de l'ECIU University, i va ser coordinat per la UAB. L'objectiu del repte és construir la convivència i un sentit d'identitat, millorar els vincles socials entre barris i trencar prejudicis i mapes mentals, a partir de la següent pregunta: quines solucions existeixen per promoure la diversitat i la igualtat d'oportunitats entre la població dels diferents barris que conformen el municipi, alhora que es creen experiències de ciutadania global?

This entry collects the theoretical and practical material of the challenge "Meet our neighbors: break the class, race, and gender segregation in Sant Joan Despí", which was developed during the 2nd semester of the academic year 2023/24.The challenge is to build coexistence and a sense of identity, to improve social ties between neighborhoods and break prejudices and mental maps, based on the following question: what solutions exist to promote diversity and equal opportunities between the population of the different neighborhoods that make up the municipality, while creating experiences of global citizenship?
