dc.description.abstract
In electronic commerce research, questionnaire surveys are widely used to gather information. But these questionnaires usually include scales to measure both the predictor constructs and the criterion constructs, and the data is often collected from the same respondents at the same time: this can introduce the challenging issue of common method variance (CMV). This editorial within the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research is designed to touch upon preventions and controls for CMV for authors submitting manuscripts.
