Acció dramàtica com a extraescolar o activitat curricular?

Abstract

L’acció dramàtica sovint és obviada en moltes escoles i no es té en compte els beneficis que aporta al desenvolupament dels infants. Malgrat això, hi ha molts nens i nenes que fan drama com una activitat extraescolar. L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és analitzar si hi ha alguna diferència entre fer acció dramàtica com a extraescolar o curricularment, ja que aquest és un tema poc tractat pels investigadors. A més, també pretén analitzar l’efecte d’aquesta pràctica en els infants. L’estudi utilitza mètodes qualitatius i quantitatius, ja que s’han realitzat entrevistes a diferents mestres relacionats amb l’àmbit escolar i extraescolar del drama i s’ha passat un qüestionari a diferents docents. A més, també s’ha entrevistat a una mestra de l’Institut del Teatre per tenir una visió externa de la pràctica teatral a les escoles i als extraescolars. L’anàlisi d’aquesta recerca ha mostrat que l’acció dramàtica comporta un aprenentatge integral amb nombrosos beneficis per l’infant independentment de si és una activitat curricular o extraescolar. Tot i això hi ha molt poques escoles on es faci teatre o drama com assignatura.

The potential role of drama is often overlooked in many schools, which do not take into account the benefits it brings to children’s development. Despite this, there are many boys and girls who do drama as an extracurricular activity. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is any difference between doing dramatic action as an extracurricular or a curricular activity, as this is a topic that is rarely addressed by researchers. In addition, the study aims to analyze the effect of this practice on children. The study uses qualitative and quantitative methods, as interviews have been conducted with different teachers related to the school and the extracurricular field of drama, and a questionnaire has been administered to different teachers. In addition, a teacher from the Institut del Teatre was interviewed to have an external view of theatre practice in schools and extracurricular activities. The analysis of this research has shown that dramatic action involves comprehensive learning with many benefits for the child, regardless of whether it is a curricular or extracurricular activity. However, there are very few schools where theatre or drama is taught as a subject.
