In the multifactorial evaluation of litter size in sows, it is estimated that the curve of the prolificacy through the births may have a predefined pattern. The present study by random regression model analyzes the data for litter size of four populations with marked differences in the average of prolificacy, three population come from farms in Spain and one population comes from farms in Denmark. |
