Poblament a les Terres de l’Ebre durant la Protohistòria. La Primera Edat del Ferro, l’Ibèric Antic i l’Ibèric Ple

Abstract

El marc cronològic comprès entre els segles VIII aC i II aC, a les Terres de l’Ebre, representa un moment d’inici i evolució de molts processos reflectits al registre arqueològic. Aquest treball pretén exposar l’evolució del poblament protohistòric a les Terres de l’Ebre (comarques de la Ribera d’Ebre, Terra Alta, Baix Ebre i Montsià), l’organització del territori, l’urbanisme i arquitectura dels assentaments, la seva relació amb l’entorn i com aquesta, alhora, mostra les relacions socials i la seva evolució. Al nostre treball, aquesta societat quedarà retallada per les fronteres actuals, però servirà per a la nostra introducció a la recerca arqueològica.

The chronological framework between the 8th century BC and the 2th century BC, in the Terres de l’Ebre, represents a moment of initiation and evolution of many processes reflected in the archaeological record. This work aims to expose the evolution of the protohistoric settlement pattern in the Terres de l’Ebre (regions of Ribera d’Ebre, Terra Alta, Baix Ebre i Montsià), the organization of the territory, the urban planning and architecture of the settlements, the relationship of the settlements with their environment and how, this, in turn, shows the social relations and their evolution. In our work, this society will be cut off by today’s borders, but it will serve as our introduction to archaeological research.
